The current Chair of the HCP, Tony Peddar, is stepping down from the role later this year. The process to recruit a new Independent Chair has begun with a closing date of Thursday 28th April.
The Independent Chair of the Sheffield HCP Board brings objectivity, independence and challenge to the Board. They play a key role in ensuring that the Board takes transparent, efficient, effective and safe decisions that make effective use of public resources.
‘Independent’ means not having an ongoing leadership role (hold Executive, Non Executive or elected positions or offices) at a health or social care organisation within Sheffield.
We welcome applications from people meeting the Role Descriptor/s from the public, private, voluntary & community, social economy and academic sectors. Details of the role can be found here.
