Welcome to our new leadership community events!
The events of the last 16 months have demonstrated just how critical system leadership is to ensuring that our citizens have access to the most effective health and care. Examples have included:
- Supporting Sheffield’s homeless populations
- Ensuring that people at the end of life have the support they need
- Implementing a hugely successful Covid vaccination programme (Sheffield has topped England’s core cities take-up rates) and,
- Bringing together local health and care with manufacturing to mitigate PPE shortages

We are committed to supporting the ongoing development of our system leaders and providing opportunities to both learn from others and to build networks to support your own system leadership. We are delighted to launch our new leadership community events, which include a range of ‘conversations with a system leader’, as well as introductions to some tools that support system leadership. Over time, these will be extended to also incorporate the opportunity to contribute to some of the ACP’s transformation priorities.
